In the early 70's I got the Betty Crocker recipe file box and once a month got a pack, or two, of recipe cards. There were several favorites. I pulled the favorites before I gave the card file to a thrift store. I must have lost this favorite. I looked it up because I want to share it with my young daughter-in-law. So happy to find it.
This is one of our all time favorite recipe. Especially during the winter!
ReplyDeleteThis recipe was a family favorite during the 1970s. Can't wait to taste it again.
ReplyDeleteI learned this recipe from my mother & make it all the time. My family loves it! I still have my mother's original cookbook with this in it.

ReplyDeleteMy recipe says to add the tomatoes whole, then cook another 10 min. How do you serve the tomatoes?
